Install guide

Install Movar

Movar keeps every page in your language. Pick your browser below and follow the steps — the one that matters is letting Movar read the content of the sites you visit.

Chrome, Edge, Brave & Opera

  1. Add it from the store

Open Movar in the Chrome Web Store and add it to your browser.

  2. Confirm the install

Your browser warns that Movar can read and change site data. Accept it — that's the access Movar needs.

  3. Pin Movar (optional)

Click the extensions puzzle icon in the toolbar and pin Movar.

  4. Let Movar read page content

Movar reads each page's content to detect its language, then switches it to yours. Open the Movar menu and set site access to "On all sites".

Firefox

  1. Add it from the store

Open Movar on Firefox Add-ons and add it to Firefox.

  2. Confirm the install

Firefox asks to allow access to your data for all sites. Accept it — Movar needs it to work.

  3. Pin Movar (optional)

Pin Movar to the toolbar so it stays one click away.

  4. Keep access to every site

Firefox grants that access at install. To change it later, open about:addons, select Movar, and use "Permissions".

Safari on Mac

  1. Get it from the App Store

Install Movar from the Mac App Store, then open the app once.

  2. Turn Movar on

In Safari Settings, open Extensions and switch Movar on.

  3. Allow on every website

In Extensions, select Movar and choose "Allow on Every Website".

Safari on iPhone & iPad

  1. Get it from the App Store

Install Movar from the App Store.

  2. Turn Movar on

Open the Settings app, then Apps → Safari → Extensions → Movar, and turn it on.

  3. Allow all websites

Under Movar, set "All Websites" to "Allow".

Movar only reads a page's content to detect its language, then switches it to yours. It has no servers — nothing about your browsing ever leaves your device.
